I'd assume there aren't many seats left, they can price the last few for people who *need* them and will pay whatever.

If you can wait until 2nd-3rd Aug, and the the seats are still available, perhaps the cost will come down?

The price of flights this year have gone through the roof, ive been checking daily on every web site for a deal for august,or september, even september they are asking £300 plus and that does not include meals, from gatwick.Thompsom asking £891 for one week in september and when you go into the site it states hurry only 3 seats left.Monarch are much the same prices they all seem to be within a few pounds of one another. There are some night flights at around £238 plus extras. But there are loads of flights for £1200 plus as the member above has stated.
