I have been to Brian (aka Tribleder) and his wife Ann's home this weekend after they again offered us tons of things for our 3 C's. They told me that they are moving back to England. They were 2 of the first people we ever met in Fethiye and made us welcome in our first week here with a delicious meal at their place. He has given us and dozens of people on here much help and excellent advice no sarcastic comments just helpful ones. Barrie and I are going to miss their smiling faces and we wish them all the best in their new home in England. Lots of love to you both and hope to see you on your hols when you come back for a visit. Thanks from all at the 3 C/s for all your contributions to our raffles, car boots and Spring fayre. Their internet is off at the moment and they wont be online for a few weeks yet. :D:D:D

I'm sure they have their reasons but again sad to hear - they really did embrace the Turkish way of life and enjoyed it to the full. Best of luck to both of you for a continuing happy life :)

Only had the pleasure of meeting them the once and only very briefly.

Best of luck Brian & Ann, we always enjoyed meeting you and having a chat, usually at the Mozaic who's takings will now drop 50% because you were always in there.

Dogan and I will miss Brian and Anne very much, not just because our takings will take a severe hit ;) but because over the three years we have got to know them we have grown to love them too.
We will miss their lovely, smiling faces and the chats we always had, but we are happy for them knowing they are safe and well in the UK with their children and grand children nearby.
We wish you well Brian and Anne in your new home - you lived and enjoyed a dream for many years and now a new adventure begins... and we look forward to hearing all about it next time we meet :)
Big hugs Nichola and Dogan

Sorry for not been able to say thanks for all the good wishes but have only got back on line today:( It was very touching to read all the lovely comments from so many of you. We most certainly have not lost our very deep love for Turkey and all that is Turkish......it was purely family reasons that we had to relocate back to the UK.
Whilst missing that wall to wall sunshine we are finding it very exciting to be in Aladins caves (also known as supermarkets) to find such an array of foods we had almost forgotten about. Just had the most tender and tasty lamb steaks with caramelised onion chutney which blew away the quality of Turkish meat! I have no doubt that we will come down to earth before long but at the moment it is like being on holiday:D We have found initially that the cost of day to day living seems to be more inexpensive than we were anticipating...Trouble is there is always something tempting in the next aisle!
We most certainly will be back before long and look forward to renewing aquaintances with old friends
