Title: New Building in the square

I was wandering through the square the other day in silent contemplation and I suddenly thought what is going on with the new building opposite the Mosque with the Bakers underneath. It was completed by the Belediye in time for the Mushroom Festival and was open for 3 days and then it closed and hasn't opened since. Has anyone heard what it is going to be used for?  It seems a bit of a waste just sitting there closed, I thought it was going to be used for the benefit of the local community in some way. Phil

Last I heard it was put to tender for someone to rent from the Belediye but not heard nothing since. Shame to have empty whilst lots of people around as it looks so nice!

I thought it was the Belediye new offices.

I can't see what someone would rent it for, there are enough tea houses and the profit from tea probably wouldn't pay the rent. There are enough restaurants in the village and it wouldn't be given a drinks licence due to it's proximity to the Mosque. I also thought that the Mayor was going to have his office on the top floor but he hasn't moved yet. Phil

Mustafa got the rental Phil.. ( Not the builder one ) and it will be tea/coffee houses (tosties inc.). They will be open soon.
