Post by: dfb57 on March 12, 2005, 17:39:12 PM: Hello fellow escapees from Britain ! I'm David and I have a place backing on to the mountain at Hisaronu. I complete in May so I'm looking forward to chatting on the forum. Plan to travel a bit in Turkey and go paragliding (again)

Hallo KKoldboy, not so much of the old! Thanks for your prompt reply, its nice when people are sociable. My frinds from here have built a house at Uzumlu, they hope to live there in a year. I read your profile , your place sounds fascinating to a country bloke and animal fanatic like me.

Hallo Linda Nice to have your reply. My place is 46 Pinara , right at the end of the complex next to where the road heads uphill to Mt Babadag . It has sweeping views across the mountain ranges, but I'll have to let it out to holiday makers as much as possible to pay the mortgage. If i went to Hisaronu 3 and 5 times a year I'd have to live there, glad it suits you so well.

Welcome to the forum - we're not far from you - just down the road in Ovacik. We've just recently bought our place and are going over in a couple of weeks to furnish it. Agree with you about the views - that's why we also bought there! Good luck in May.

I escaped first time when I was 15 to Oz in 1962 silly enough to return 1980 Surely thats why we go to all the expence and fag of buying abroad
