They are a little more expensive in Turkey but the prices are coming down
I was advised when I bought mine here in Turkey to buy a Toshiba as they are the only ones with the Windows operating system available in English, the one I bought 2 years ago was about £30 more expensive than a comparable one in the UK
I dont have trouble with the keyboard I can switch Easily from Turkish to English
If I was residing mainly in Uk then I would buy there, but as I live here permanently I prefer to buy goods here then if I have problems I can go back to where I bought to get it sorted

if you live here I would buy from Gold computers on the oneway system around fethiye about 800 mtrs passed pasa kebab. The warranty is normally 2-3years and their service is very good.Other brands like casper have english keyboards and windows. The other good place is opposit Macdonalds in the carpark next to park cafe.He speaks very good english and can advise you on everything.

There was a new electrical shop near Halk Bank opened a few weeks ago - can't remember what it was called but they had lap tops and the prices seemed reasonable. If you buy new in the UK you have to be careful with the guarantees - there are some that say it is invalid if you live outside the UK.

Thanks for all the help...

Bought my laptop from Zirve Bilgisayar thats the EXPER computer shop near ÞOK on the 22 meter road.
Original price was only slightly higher than a like spec DELL, but he added a few extra programmes including the full MS Office 2010 (with licence) and upgraded to Window 7 ultimate then gave a 10% discount - so ended up a good bit cheaper than the DELL option.
