Title: Missing Alsations
Post by: Winklepicker on August 26, 2011, 20:00:51 PM
I am reporting 2 missing Alsations for the Turkish owner who lives by me just off the Denizli Road.

This morning someone opened the gate and allowed the Alsations to escape, luckily the two puppy Alsations didnt wander away but stayed by the villa. The owner is very worried as they are much loved pets.

The owner as been to the Animal Sanctuary to make enquiries and has asked me to post on the forum. If anyone sees Alsations wandering in the Uzumlu area could you phone me on 0545 665 7125

Thankyou.

There was an Alsation dog on the road down to Fethiye, near to the restaurant half way down, who had clearly been run over and was dead, Could not see it when we came back from the airport at 2am. Maybe worth asking at the restaurant about it. Looks like the car may have come off worse as there was bits of car lying on the road too. It is obvious that someone moved the dog between us going to the airport and us getting back.

Hopefully this was not one of the missing dogs, Will keep looking our for them.

Yes would help for us to know Rosy what day you saw the dog as Im having a meeting with the owners today...and the dog that was mistaken for theirs did run after cars....so it could have been this one.

Winklepicker, could you put the name of the dog on the website?  If anyone does seem him he'll probably be more comfortable going to someone who knows his name?

The name of the male dog still missing is Kont.
He is 3 and a half years old ...distinguishing mark is a small patch of rough skin on the right elbow. Photograph to follow.

The last time Tukish owner went to the Santuary is 3 days ago and it has been on the Tanoy System in Turkish only.

There has been no sightings reported of the male.

The female is still blind and will be taken back to the vets again on friday...no reason as yet to why....I hope whomever let these dogs out can live with themselves.

The owners will be interested in a search and would like to thank all who have helped so far.

Rosy if you could ring me I would like to check out the dog you saw this morning. Thank you.

Hello Sertac, I am the lady with the Golden Retriever.

I would just like to say how sorry I am at your loss and how sad it was to see you and your family so distraught yesterday. I know it will be of little comfort to you and your family, but at least you have found him and know he is now at peace.

Regards, Glenda

It would be nice for all to know the progress of the Lady dog from the owner.
This is how I understand it....when the Lady Dog(sorry dont know the name) has improved enough, hopefully within the next 10 days or so, then she hopefully can have an operation to remove the pellets...so everyone keep their fingers crossed that her life may be improved.

A huge thank you from me to all the eyes and ears and the phonecalls both Turkish and English.

Thank you

Kay xx

i'm sorry dinger i dont know ur name. i wanna ask something. i really doubt the turkish man who stays with his family there. I heard his name is Hasan Halil. Do u know him? Because we find some chicken quills near Kont(boy one). Shela(girl one) doesn't like chickens. Maybe Shela chased his chickens and he shot my dogs. He could suppose both of them were dead but Shela was alive and languorous and Calvin find her on the road. We reported everything to Jandarma and i'm sure murderers will be find.

it is same now she can't see anything but she can distinguish between dark and light(one is %40, the other is less than %5). vet said that if iris of eyes would be taken with operation she might see with 9 or 10 number of diopters. vet will meet with eye doctor to inform him. i can say a definite thing than.
