We have our house for sale in Bodrum but property sales are slow here, so what I need is for the forum members to all have positive thoughts please for a wonderful buyer to come along and buy our lovely house so we can up sticks and move down to the Fethiye area ;o))

Thank you all. We love Bodrum and have been very happy here but those mountains in Fethiye started calling out to us when we got there. We'll miss Bodrum for lots of reasons but are ready for a move. Had one ridiculous so told the Estate Agent not to call me again unless it is for the asking price and another offer but it had complications so had to say no to that :( I suppose it will go when the time is right as they say.

What about trying a property swap ? - Maybe you'll have a little better chance than the couple from Barnsley, but there again, why would anyone want to move from Fethiye ? - Whatever happens Good Luck to you !

Sales don't seem to be much faster here either. Once I have sold, I'd be more than happy to move to Bodrum or Dalyan.

Loz of course, I think it really is time we met after chatting in cyber space for over 7 years! I forgot to say that we also want to move so we can be near friends  ;) lol

Bodrum is beautiful Col, we have some wonderful places here and the coast line is stunning but you pay for this with a higher cost of living. We will miss it but we are sure we are doing the right thing.

PS. Had a viewing at 6.30 pm today, keep those positive thoughts coming, woop woop!!

Yes Karabag, I noticed the price difference when I was there on my first visit this January. But it's so clean, tidy and considering it was January, much busier than here in winter. Wish I had discoverd Bodrum before. Good luck in finding a sale and moving to Fethiye.
