Hi all.
Some friends are buying a villa in Ovacik. They have been quoted £100 per week for pool cleaning and a once a week villa clean. Is this the going rate?
Thanks.
Chris.

Hi Chris
Have they tried FPS Engin ... He's been looking after our pool on the complex this summer and done an excellent job considering we have had a leak from the pool all summer yet against the odds he as kept it topped up and adjusted chemical levels daily so it could be in use; fall marks to him:D

Try this team Chris, based in Ovacik and can highly recommend 8) http://www.peaceofmindturkey.com/ :)

Could that have been £100 per month or possibly 100 Lira per week.

Apparently this guy is called Omer, and has a few English clients with villas ALL paying 100 quid a week!!
Does anyone in Ovacik know if their neighbours are paying this extortionate rate?
-
Well if he's got 4 mugs already and your friends were to take him up on his kind offer he's earning £500 a week, in Turkey I'd be absolutely astounded if he is.

Update...
This maintenance guy has offered for my friends to meet a client of his this week. I think I will tag along to see what muppets are paying this guy.

i have been asking around for pool maint' prices and they seem to be in the region of 140-180 Lira/month if you supply chemicals and 280-320 Lira/month including chemicals.

Thanks for al your responses. I thought it was a lot to be paying, considering what we pay on our complex.
