In Turkey now..... Very hot. My iPhone gets me the net but this time will not let me into my emails? I have Internet roaming off just using restaurants.
Any ideas?

I believe you need your roamimg on Jacqui. I am finding all this out in prep for taking mine away too.

Do you mean using iphone mail to get your emails Jacqui, or via a website?

If you can get a wifi connection you should not need roaming on at all. You do need to have your email accounts put into your settings though.

Oops, I stand corrected, you should be getting them if you are conected to a wifi connection.

We need to know which email client you use Jacqui, hotmail???, gmail??? etc etc.

Do you go through the "normal" internet? Or do you have a dedicated app?

Hi I have not had a problem before getting my emails.  I am with bt but have my own domain name and my emails come from my website people

Hi Jacqui

i think you find its to do with port settings some of turkeys internet platform is not fully compatable with the rest of europe apprently and bt is one of them your find hotmail etc ok outlook expess i think is another problem the computer guys i use told me about this you could possibly have a word with them or set up a hot mail account and have your mail transfered from your bt account

My website email come direct to me and I had no probs reciveing them on my iphone in Turkey I use AOL
