hi all we returned from 2 days break away from our house here in turkey and the smell of gas hit us as soon as we came into the house. we had just had new airconditioning put in 2 days prior so we sent for the fellas who had put in our air-conditioning and they said it was not the unit.
i first we thought it was the gas bottle so we turned it off and took the pipe out and checked for a split
but the gas smell is still here we are going to sleep in the garden tonight, until we get some one out
ps anyone know what the gas could be coming from??????????????
pps sorry if in 2wrong section

It could be a few things One being the regulator on the gas bottle another could be the gas valves on the hob if the grease starts to dry out the valves let gas pass
-
Could also be coming from nextdoor if your's is a semi or apartment.

I heard that buried dead bodies emit a decomposing smell similar to natural gas. Check under your patio.

Natural gas is odourless it has a chemical added to make it smell but it is 90% methane the same as a F++t so the problem may be close to home :D
