Because this trip is proving to be very popular and the amount of ladies wishing to attend the closing date for anyone wishing to come will now be the end of September, we can then have numbers and give the cost to everyone.

Thanks for everyone who has emailed me. Looks like it will a very enjoyable day.

Haven't been myself but apparently a large shopping centre next door with lots and lots of various shops, cafes etc.

If anyone else can throw more information on it - would be helpful.

The topic title: Ladies Shopping Trip - Ikea - 3rd Nov

I would like to know why this is a sexist topic? How come us guys are ruled out, some of us might just fancy a day out shopping, shame we're not welcome lol.

It allows them to do the entire one way system at a snail's pace from front door to tills, then decide that they did want the first thing they saw after all and go all the way back for it, without irritating the hell out of us men. Let them have their day Mark :D

We ordered breakfast bar stools from Ikea online in September and they were duly sent to Fethiye for 15tl.  We had to collect them from the Cargo company.

A very successful shopping trip to Ikea and the shopping centre yesterday with 39 ladies on board, all very well behaved!  seems the men were missing us all yesterday!! Ikea's profits yesterday were up 100% and made the news!

Anyway a most enjoyable trip although rather long everyone enjoyed the day out, Uzumlu Ladies will organise more trips based on the quick feedback yesterday, and an overnight stay seems to be a popular choice.  Feedback forms will be sent out to all, if anyone else would like to join the email list for future trips please let me know.

A big thank you to Cadianda Tours for arranging the coach and for being on time and a very helpful young man who must had been very tired from carrying everyones shopping.

Denise

Very successful and enjoyable day. Thank you Denise for organising this for us.   We must warn Ikea next time we are going so that can get in extra stock!!!   It was tiring but the trip was comfortable and a bit noisy on the way there but seemed to quiet down on the way back.  As you say a big thank you to Cadianda Tours their drivers were great.  Looking forward to the next one.

Does anyone know if you can still view the Ikea catalogue online in English?

I dont think you can view the Turkish one in English, I usually find an item I am interested in, make a note of the name then look on Ikea UK to find out the details. Its a bit of a pain.........
