Title: New Duty Free Allowances From EU Countries

Here's the link to the HMRC page explaining the new allowances from 1st October 2011.

Cigarettes have been reduced from 3,200 to 800 and tobacco has been reduced from 3 kilos to 1 kilos. Most other allowances remain the same.

It isn't an allowance though it is how much you can have without being questioned as to why you have so much.

It's an inspecific change in a particularly blurry law...
