am I allowed to take my lap top into Turkey. short term vs long term.
import duties etc..

Has anyone taken a normal pc into Turkey? Is that a possibility?

I brought 19 over in a container when we moved here and one in bits to rebuild. Wouldnt bring one in via plane though. Customs look out for what the think are TV screens then bill you for importing a TV.

You are supposed to remove your laptop from your bag for screening - we forgot once and had our names/passport details written in a book at Dalaman security!  Apart from that, I've never had any problems bringing mine with me.
