Just booked a flight with easy jet i cant get over the 12-95Gbp Card charge and this is a visa debit card i need a chair
-
The average charge a business pays is 30p per credit card transaction, less for the debit card. As the Yanks say "You do the Math"
All the travel companies have jumped on this loop hole charge what you like to use a card. Imagine if you asked to use a card in a high street shop and they told us it would be an extra £12.95. Time the Government stopped this.
-
Is that the airline that charges £28 for a suitcase?
Echostar stay seated LOL

Perhaps a link on here to the CAA Complaints dept would be of use. If all forum members plus forum followers complained about all the add on charges ,somthing might be done!!!

cannot believe how much the add ons for easyjet have increased for next year..speedy boarding luggage etc...we expected increases but they have really gone over the top..no wonder stellos is not a happy man..we have just booked with monarch..good flight times add ons reasonable.. 8).greedy greedy easyjet.!!!!:-\
-
Sue I booked with Monarch a few months ago for next year....they are not the cheapest but having been with them the last 3 or 4 times I think they are best all things considered...just more organised than other airlines and dare I say they usually take off in time....
I can't be doing with the scrum on easy jet flights and as for the £12.95, well I would not pay it.....its how they make their money up.

turkeysue....I think Stellios sold up and is looking to start another rival airline.
-
hi tel hes still a share-holder i believe..his ideas for easyjet to be a cheap and no frills airline has in my opinion gone out of the sky...good luck to him in his new adventure....
-
He and his family still own 38% of the shares but he's at loggerheads with the current CEO about the direction in which the company is being taken. That's why he's threatening to set up a company to rival easyJet called FastJet.
