Title: For Vegetarians
Post by: Colwyn on October 18, 2011, 16:29:01 PM
Vegetarians, if you fancy a change, why not try one of Tesco's "Steak and Ale" pies? If it's like the one I had last night there won't be any bloody meat in the damned thing.

There can be nothing worse, except grizzle disguised as meat:-\

Always buy my pies from Bert Fowlie in Strichen, Aberdeenshire he is an Scottish Award Winning Butcher, once you eat his pies you will never want a supermarket pie.  The pies are full of huge pieces of steak with no fat or gristle.

I was in his shop last week and the guy standing next to me was from Glasgow and was buying pies to take back.  He had a list of orders.
He also now has an online ordering facility so wherever you live in the U.K. you can have a Fowlie pie. ;)

Not over fond of "lol" or "psml" but I did laugh out loud at that and there was a warm trickle going down my leg

OOPs did I spell it wrong.  Either way I do not like.

We like Jacqui have a good butcher in the village with nice individual pies for Mr Mac.  Mrs Mac gets a nice peice of low fat chicken.:P
