when cycling into Fethiye today I passed this very forlorn little kitten Couldnt pick it up as on way to the bank but the little soul preyed on my mind so,after the bank cycled back the way I'd come and low and behold it was still there.Picked it up but it wouldnt sit in my bicycle basket and had to put it up my t.shirt and cycle to my Vet Özgur Yaman who's surgery is near the Esnaf Hospital. They promptly took it in,gave it the once over and some food-which it wolfed down.Erman says they will keep it and once it is well they will try to find a home for it.No charge, just out of the goodness of their hearts.Nice to know their are still people around like them.Hopefully the wee soul will find a loving home, sure there must be someone out there who can open their hearts to him.If I didnt have 3 cats of my own and a couple of street cats I would have had him.

Hi As you may have read on this forum, my kitten went missing last week. What age, colour and sex is the one you found please? I am not holding out much hope now of finding mine as it was too young to make its way home but, if the kitten you found isnt mine, which I know probably isnt, I may be willing to adopt it, but it does depend on its age as my dogs are fine with very young kittens but not so good with older ones.
We miss ours very much as he was so young when we adopted him that he quickly made himself at home and wasnt worried at all of the dogs and learnt to sleep and play with them. He was still bemused at the chickens though, they are 4 times his size!

I have to second that grizabella I am looking after a 3 week old kitten who is really putting up a fight. I took him to Ozgars yesterday aa she couldnt poo after a few days. They were lovely, checked her over and gave her vitamins. No charge and they told me to take her back if i have any problems. Lovely caring people.

Hi Julesp, the kitten fitted into the palm of my hand and was a tabby and white colour.I also found out it had been tossed around by the local dogs before I rescued it.I'm sure he'd make a lovely addition to your 'family'.He's a bit fiesty but with loving care I'm sure would make a loving pet. Here's ÖzgÜrs phone numbers in case you want to get in touch with him.......0252 612 77 55.........0 533 227 20 38.........Erman was telling me that they also have a few more rescued kittens waiting for homes so if the kitten I rescued isnt fit enough to be rehomed just yet maybe one of the other ones will fit the bill.Wishing you luck.

We have a small all black kitten on our complex with beautiful blue eyes. I am allergic to cats so I cant keep him. I would say it is about 5 weeks old.

Oh Jules Mercurys kittie sound just like your lost one......and needs a lovely home like yours..... :) x
-
Yes I know! I Would love another little black cat, but I am now torn because the little one that was found also needs a home, surely there must be more people on here that can adopt one!
-
I would if I was there but that's not a lot of help......!.....maybe the one Mercury has is the one as it's so similar to your missing baby?, the others are at the vets and they will be looked after whilst there...unless you wanted two :). So sorry you lost your little
Kittie, such a shame but I still have a nagging feeling those Turkish girls had him....but that doesn't help you either.....whatever you decide it will help a little darling won't it....so good luck......let us know. X

He is so gorgeous and lucky to have found a good home. We have a black cat 3yrs old and crippled due to inresponsible owners of a Jack Russel but she rules the roost in our house and the other four are frightened of her. Good luck Jules im sure he will pay your kindness back with his love. xx

What a little beauty, give him a love from me, one lucky moggy.:D:D
