I have Google Earth installed and can look at Calis /Fethiye etc but the maps all seem to be 2yrs old.I wondered if I can go into streetview from earth to see if any of the area is included or advice on how to get onto street view please.

Already put it in computer section you can bin this one if you like

2 years old is pretty up-to-date for Google Earth as far as this part of the country is concerned.
The latest images of Kaya are 7 years old.
I don't think Google have got round to doing Street View yet. Yandex have done it for Istanbul and Ankara though.

Forgive me if I am wrong but apparently the Turkish government will not give Google the required permission to have street views.
-
NO shock there then!
-
They probably want to sell them a licence to do it.
-
Or they'll tell them they've got permission and then fine them after they've done it. Burasi Turkiye.
-
Or they'll tell them they've got permission, then when they've done it dream up a special "Google Streetview Tax" to go on top of the normal council tax.

I wonder what it is that's made us such cynical barstewards ? ;):D ;)
