Brown dog tied up by the winehouse belongs to the Goat man across the road is showing every rib....Ive been to feed him a couple of times. The white dog he had before apparently died of starvation????....I cant believe that in extreme cases like this the Jandama cant do anything??? Do you know otherwise?
If anyone wants to help me feed him please send email.

Its good that some people care about these poor animals, could this be another dog that needs to "escape" to a better place ? This goat man shouldn't be allowed to keep animals.

If the goat man as I call him lets him go to someone theres no guarantee he wont get another one.I just think that to have a dog thats not working or used on the land etc as most do then whats the point of him having this dog just not to feed....

Taken a Turkish neighbour to have a talk with the family today he will talk with Baba tomorrow and I will ask if he dosent want the dog which he bought as a gift for his Daughter...I will take to the Animal Shelter....Andy was consulted over the white dog previously....and is aware of the brown one through Ian I believe. Will keep you posted.

we are feeding her everyday too and she is really very slim..
we dont know either what happened to the other one.(white one) we will speak with him again tomorrow ...

Hope you get a succcesful outcome for the poor wee soul.Came across a similar situation in Adrassan when I stayed there and the owner told me his dog was a hunting dog and had to be kept hungry!!!!!The poor dog was skin and bone.Best of luck.

Hi - we fed him last night and again this morning - we'll keep our eye on this poor little mite and continue to feed it while it's there. Hope it gets to the shelter and finds a better home soon.

Thankyou....My Turkish friend is speaking with the Goat Man this afternoon so hopefully he will allow us to take to the shelter...fingers crossed. Thank you. xx

Well done Winklepicker for your efforts, I hope it all works out well this time, not sure what happened to the white one but like you said there is no guarantee he will not get another, luckily there are many animal lovers in the area to keep an eye open and drop food off when nescessary, we still feed the dogs in the garden by the car park everytime we come up.

Latest News....My Turkish friend spoke to the mother and daughter again this afternoon but no Baba...They have said that as its cost them money for food....!!!!....if anyone wants the dog they want 50 lira. So..still no further forward...if they have the money it wont stop them getting another kopek hoping for the same result. Stalemate. I will still go up to feed the dog if others can too please. Sener from the winehouse says he will talk to him.

Please don't buy the dog anyone, like Winklepicker says he will be straight down the shelter for another, better off just dropping scraps in to it everytime you pass, you can always get someone Turkish to speak to the Zabita to 'have a word'

This man just keeps replacing his dogs this is the third dog that i know he has had . He even used a rabbit 4 years ago to lure people over to look at the things he sells in the summer that probably ended up on the table.
Everyone of the dogs has been tied up and gets shut in the derilict house across from his a lot of the time. It is very sad to see.
Wish something could be done to stop him doing this its so cruel....

I have been up and fed the dog today, It's a lovely dog, such a shame it's tied up all day.

Hi All, Been to see Rasede(Zabita) today with friend. Explained the problem. He will have a word so watch this space. I feed the dog every couple of days, have noticed this morning that all the dog mess has been cleaned away.
Nothing more to do at the moment so lets keep fingers crossed.

Hi All, The latest is that the Goat Man has now got himself a Kangol. Last night that was in the storage area and the little brown dog was left outside.

This is so bad it breaks my heart to hear it. It makes you wonder if he has done this on purpose to upset everyone that cares .
The poor dog left outside, it has rained all night. What heartless horrible people these are.

Hubby took some bones up there for the dogs this afternoon but neither of them were there.

Yes they are brothers. Will look tomorrow myself too. Thank you. Still havnt heard what the outcome with Racede yet, but lets hope hell stop having the dogs.

No dogs have appeared as yet, so lets keep our fingers crossed.
