I may have to travel from UK to istanbul regularly on business next year and would love to be able to "Commute" between Istanbul and Fethiye.
Other than flying (and I have no car) what is the fastest way to get from Istanbul to fethiye (and back again)?

A big comfortable coach.
There are no trains.
-
That's a big comfortable coach that takes 12 - 14 hours to get from Istanbul to Fethiye.
-
that is not so comfortable after about 6 hours!!!!
-
you can get an internal flight from dalaman airport to istanbul, but Im unsure of the timetables.
-
If you are flying THY then get yourself a miles and smiles card. Internal flights with them are not that expensive if you book well in advance and when you rake up the miles the other benefits do make it worthwhile like using the lounges and getting the odd free flight now and then. We have used the free flights twice this year for 2 tickets to Chicago and 2 tickets to LA.

Thinking about it, if it were feasable, it would probably be the most expensive option of the lot. When you add up all those(and there would be a lot!) Dolmus fares:D

pammukale express overnight train from istanbul to denizli and bus from denizli to fethiye :D

There used to be an overnight sleeper train from Denizli. I heard they stopped that service about 3 years ago in order to install high speed track. I'm not sure if this service has been reinstated ?

Atlasjet or Pegasus

so it sounds like flying is the best option I think.
Thanks all for your responses.
