Will they both go out tonight??
I think Man city are out and not to sure about Man u, may scrape through with a draw or could go either way with a 1-0
-
Can't disagree with that on both counts :)
-
Where's the fun in that Ian:D

Well Andy - there's a shock - didn't see that one coming
That Alexander Frei must be older than you - how did he score ;)

-
Spot on Ken although Bury do look as though they are sneaking into a play off position and Keith Hill is doing well at Barnsley :D :D
-
What a real shame for both of the Manchester teams, it really is sad to see.:(:(

I knew it would be good when Mercenary City went out, but double blessed when the Manure joined them:D:D:D:D
Still you can still watch them both on their European travels in the Johnstone Paint Cup of Europe, these matches can be found at the quality end of the TV dial on Channel 5 and ITV4. Don't forget though that these games are not played on a Tuesday or a Wednesday they are played the next day on a SPURSDAY ;)
Kenkay - No decent club to watch within 200 miles!! Are you sure your talking about the same Man U supporters from the well known Salford suburbs of Surrey, Kent, London, Hertfordshire and Bucks ;) They can always go to the Arsenal or Chelski for proper European Football
We may have got the season off to a bad start .... so come on you Gunners, European Glory is still on for us[^][^]

Keep em coming, this should last at least another week:D
-
Come to Manchester, a Europe free zone: :):D
-
Here's the best of the lot. That arrogant 'Sir' laughing at a reporter for daring to suggest that his team were struggling in Europe after the 2-2 draw against Benfica. He walked out of the interview. I wonder if he will ring the chap up and apologise now?

Just heard that the Manchester clubs are jointly releasing a fragrance for Christmas: Channel No.5

Only got one thing to say to all this, London has allways had the top teams, ;):D
-
Chelsea and Man City have spent millions Creating a team. Prior to Chelseas recent years or in Citys recent 1 year they have done absolutely nothing in football terms. No real history! As for London always having the best teams im sure you were having a wee sherbet when you wrote that... Or a short memory. Arsenal have been good and entertaining over the years and had some outstanding players and have brought through some excellent players giving them credit. But silverware? Man utd have been the masters in this. Youth developement and trophies say it all so the pretenders need to keep pretending. As for the champions league Untd and city were not good enough this year and must now focus on the premiership etc . I hope after Arsenals bad start to the season and an amazing turnaround that they have their year in europe. Come on van persie fly the flag.
-
As I always say on here.....
Sing when they're winning..
They only sing when there winning.
I thank you.

Remind me what they won last season?
:)
-
FA Cup 2010
-
That was the season b4 :)
-
Respect, ;)
-
I'm torn now :(
Really glad that both Manc teams went out for different reasons. City because they have spent so much to 'buy' it and the other lot for - well being the other lot and having Mr Arrogant as manager.
Now you southerners start to stir things up with the north/south divide. It would be interesting to see which area is top dog since the Prem started. My guess is based on the league, FA Cup and Champs League that the north win buy a country mile.
Correct me if I am wrong :)
-
Most consistent team must be the Arsenal due to the fact we have never suffered the pain of relegation. :D
-
That doesn't answer the question though does it?
-
if you go by total premiership points, manu are top, Arsenal second, Chelsea third and I think liverpool are still fourth, I think Chelsea have won most FA cups in the last decade.
if you want to talk about Champions League, Barcelona is in the South:D
-
A little bit of Chico's broken toes ,
A little bit of Fergie's whiskey nose.
A little bit of Evra crying 'Race' ,
A little bit of Giggsy's pixie face,
A little bit of Vidic seeing red ,
... A little bit of Rooney's baldy head ,
A little bit of Nani taking a dive ,
You can see it all on Channel Five !!
-
I'm gonna nick that for facebook Tinx - pmsl!
-
it's already on mine, but you wouldn't know that:D
-
Sent this to my son so he can tease his Man U friend.. But changed the Irish Whiskey to Scottish Whisky, as I am sure that's what Sir Alex would drink.

Yes but how did you get in the old first division :)interesting article, the first one being the biggest injustice being Chesterfield born and bred and went to most grounds in the old 3rd and 4th division to watch. We was robbed.
