From the local Daily Hurriyet news, It was reported that in the first
half of this year there was 13 million visitors( a 12.5% increase) on 2010)..
Top spot Germany  14.7%
Second " Russians 11.4% (3.7 million in June alone)
Third  " Britons   7.4%
Fourth " Iranians  7.0%
Unemployment fell from 11.3% to 8.8% the three months up to Oct.increase.
Just one more.. if your going to Istanbul this XMAS you can expect to pay more for your taxi as they have received an 8% fare increase.
