Title: 25 Teachers Imprisoned in Turkey

Twenty five teachers have recently been imprisoned in Turkey on charges of terrorism, for what was in effect normal trade union activities.  There is a growing international campaign to put pressure on the Turkish government to release the teachers.  If you'd like to find out more and perhaps join the campaign by sending an e-mail to Prime Minister Erdogan http://www.labourstart.org/cgi-bin/solidarityforever/show_campaign.cgi?c=1202.

scary side of turkish life. but in general terms they are moving fast forward with regard to normal expectations in 2012. lets hope these poor teachers are released
