Hello all,
I have 3 beautiful ( 2 month old) female puppies that need a home asap. Parasite tablets given, 1st injection was done today and mom & pups given the best food for optimal health.
Turks don't care for females much so please help me find good homes for these wonderful creatures. Mom & dad are extremly good natured dogs, intelligent, patient & eager to please.
Spread the word as I really need to get these off to their new homes since I am moving & have 5 adults already!
Thanx!!

Here is my number where I can be reached.
cep: 05364740773

Are they free?
-
Even if they are free it will cost loads to get them to anywhere near Turkey or the UK, the location is given as Canada but there is a Turkish number???
Pics, colours etc. would help I'm sure.
-
They are on the facebook buy, sell or swap page, I thought I saw they were 100tl each.
They are in Ciftlik.
-
So this is an advert, not the plea for help it is dressed as.
-
I do apologise for not indicating where I was, and no, not in Canada! I am in Ciftlik but can travel for your convenience, or we can meet half way. I travel alot on the Antalya road. Someone is asking if they are free, well, I was hoping to get a token amount since I have spent more than 1400 TL on food the last 2-3 months. They normally sell for 400 TL, but I would accept 100. I really want the pups to be in a good home with proper care & attention, not tied up to a post for the next 10 years eating only bread!
If you check out Facebook Buy, Sell or Swap Fethiye, I posted some photos of the little terrorists.
Thanx and those interested pls give me news!! I need to leave Ciftlik & am staying just for the pups well-being.
Cheers!

As to the plea for help...it is for them since my pocket has already been depleted buying the best quality food!!
Sorry, but is it so wrong to ask when I've even taken them to the vet!?
Gee guys...why does everyone want free stuff here?
These are great dogs...not that all dogs aren't, but some are better company than others.
Cheers!
-
What do you mean "why does everyone want free stuff here"? I didn't ask if they were free because I want a free dog. I asked because you wrote it in a charity section as a plea to help animals whereas it is an advert for which you want money.
-
I apologise if this forum is only to help abandoned mutts & cats.
I was encouraged today (by the ladies at Fetav) to post here but didn't take the time to read all info-advice. If I have trespassed then mea-culpa...I can remove the posts if the board judges I should.
In the meantime, the girls need their supper. Filet-mignon, mes cheries?

Don't take me wrong Scunner, it is a plea for help to find good homes. I have bailifts (fathers' old court case I inherited) coming after me & after seeing how bailifts take people's dogs on the news, I am asking for help.
If it makes a huge difference that the dogs are free, then 'Let them be Free!'
I just think a token amount deter folks that grab anything that's free.
-
I think you are quite correct asking for a nominal amount for your puppies Brea as this will deter certain individuals who would take your dogs and as you say, feed them bread and water and leave them tied up all day.You are wanting responsible owners and surely no one would moan about paying 100tl for a well cared for and nurtured German Shepherd pup.Good luck with your search.

I agree. The point is, she didn't.

I remember that article on the news about a month back,a hubby and wife were in debt for about two grand and as their dog was a pedigree the baliff decided to add the dog on the list of valuables to be sold if the debt was not repaid. The lady of the house was really upset saying the dog was her baby and she was willing for them to take the husband rather than her dog!!!!

I hope these dogs don't breed again. Can they be neutered? Its such a shame for more pups to be brought in a world full of souls already needing good homes.
-
Too young to be neutered they should be 6 months old.
-
I think she meant the parents lol as there are 5 adult dogs
-
Thanks Chris :)
-
in that case yes, any vet will do it
-
I think what people are trying to say Brea is you should have posted your advert in the Buy & Sell part of the forum. Good luck with finding new homes for the puppies.
-
No, was I am trying to say is, it does my head in for people to breed dogs that then need homes, for whatever reason.
-
What I was trying to say was that she posted it while knowingly avoiding the fact she wanted payment for them. 4 posts in one day from someone who previous to that managed 4 posts in 5 years - it's amazing how useful some people suddenly find CBF when they have something to sell.
-
Hello,
As I am trying to tackle a 10 year court case & save my furniture, I am also taking the time to try & find decent homes for these puppies. Had I known my situation would turn bad so quickly, many things would have been done differently, (such as not putting an ad in Animal Charity Forum. These are things one does when under pressure and stressed. By the way, the mother has been neutered now too, in between packing.
As for avoiding mentioning the payment, hmmm...Monsieur Scunner, are you always so hard on people? Things are done in a haste when big trouble hits home. I think Grizabella got the point and sorry everyone if I seem to be 'abusing' the forum for my own ends.
Several people had also verbally committed (before birth) to taking the pups but...well, they changed their mind. Nothing much I can do about that.
By the way...have a good evening folks and thanx for your posts.
-
Brea I hope you can find good homes for them they look adorable . Already have 2 big dogs otherwise I would have been sorely tempted ! Good luck
-
Thanx alot for your encouragement! I really hope I can find loving home for them too. I have hope.
-
I hope you win your court case. You must be completely stressed out. I am really glad you have had the mother neutered :). Most important to find the little'uns good homes. I hope you have success.
-
While I feel sorry for Brea, or should I say, really the puppies, as people's circumstances can change; pets should be neutered if there is the slightest chance that the puppies cannot be sold, or you are unable to take them when you go. its always the animals that suffer in the end whether they are well-fed or not to begin with. Reading between the lines, and its pretty crystal-clear, these puppies and their parents were well fed, as they were being bred for sale and profit , and now due to circumstances, they have not yet sold and the owner has them on her hands. Scunner is right, wrong subject in the wrong thread. No charity at all here, whether money changes hands or not. We have to leave Turkey soon, but we are taking our pets with us, would never dream of leaving them behind or selling them. We are selling bits and pieces to help pay for the costs as we are not millionaires to put it mildly. this lady was running a business, not a charity. having said my piece, I hope those poor well-fed puppies find a home which will actually love them as well.

I take your point, but the pups are 2 months old, -far too young for neutering yet.
-
I believe I apologised for not putting the notice at the right place! I am working hard at finding places for the little ones so people can discuss other more important things...my business is not dog breeding though. I earn my living working on sailboats and raising goats...if I were doing dog breeding I'd certainly keep the girls!
Maybe I should apologise again for posting in the wrong place...forgive me everyone!!!!
Will I ever be forgiven?!
Cheers and have a good day.

I meant pets in general, when you take them on :-)

Oh yes, I agree. We have pets neutered to stop them breeding and to protect them from cancers etc.
