Title: Hotels near Blue Mosque Istanbul

Sorry if this is in wrong area couldn't figure out which area my enquiry belongs. Here goes, can any fellow members recommend a reasonibly priced hotel within walking distance of the center of Istanbul, Topkapi, Mosque grand bizzar. Thanks Crookes875

Friends of ours stayed in this Hotel and said it was very good  http://www.ilkayhotel.com/
We stayed with the same chain of Hotels in Istanbul and found the place we stayed in excellent. The chain offers free pick up at the airport to the hotels if you stay for 3 days or more.

We stayed at the Tan right on the doorstep of the tourist action, lovely breakfast included . Transfers can be arranged from Atta only, not from SAW. We used Back packers for transfers and a tour they were excellent. We had a suite of rooms which was brilliant as i am a very early riser and Nick is absolutely not so normally I try and lie as still as I can for as long as I can but this was pure luxury I could get up and wonder about as much as I liked ! It certainly wasn't the cheapest but then we went for my husbands 50th birthday.

I also used the Tan hotel a couple of years ago Great location and very friendly, was cheaper then though. They had just refurbished and had not put the prices up, I noticed the price trebled the following year

We stayed at the Hali Hotel four years ago. Quite cheap but in a very good location.

We stayed at the Pierre loti Hotel.Nice hotel ,clean & good price.400mtrs from Blue Mosque :)

We stayed at the Adora Boutique Hotel. Our room overlooked the Topkapi Gardens at Gulhane. Excellent value for the small price paid, you can see the hotel on their website. Enjoy !  :)

Ooh if you get the chance to go up to Pierre loti hill go into the cafe. It had the most unusual fire in the middle of the room with no chimney and the waiters were in traditional dress but the cafe itself was fab. I could have stated all day !
