Just checked out of curiosity, how much the same flights are currently, compared to what we paid when we booked last Septemeber.

Sept £191.95 including baggage
Now £453.96 inc baggage for the exact same flights.
Both of these are complete prices for 2 people

How chuffed am I!!!!!

Wow! That is an amazing saving.  I was pleased with ours but that's fantastic especially for school holidays.  We've never booked flights so early before but will definitely be doing so again.

Great price for May Cheers, we saw them at that sort of price but when you have to check holiday dates with work and some people take forever to say that all is ok,  the prices rise up !!! i now ask just before they are coming on sale so i am ready for when they are put on line for sale, you learn from experience...

Under normal circumstances we would have already booked our flight ex MCH/DLM for the following Jan (normally 2nd)with TC however even
if we had the confidence to book with them so far ahead, they are not even showing flights for Dec let alone Jan!

We did book ahead June 2011 for our July 2012 holiday, but was with Aegean wasnt it so lost those flights. Have only just been able to manage to book new flights for this July with Monarch and they were £371 each in the school hols. It has cost us over double what we had originally paid.  These prices take me back to the days when to go for the 6 wks holidays we had to drive from the Midlands to Heathrow, fly to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines change planes and then fly onto Dalaman, good times though all the same.

The problem with Pegasus from Manchester is there is only 1 flight per week and if that doesn't go you have lost your holiday

A shame Pegasus don't have their Gatwick flights this summer, my own experience with them, far better than any uk carrier.

It also seems to be hit and miss in general if you book early or not, for a the best priced flight.
I booked a TC flight last month for less than it was priced up at 3 months ago.
Have also been checking out a return flight for family to fly over in May, at the moment it is £80 less than it was late last year and again (at the moment) cheaper than I have seen for 2 years.

Col do you mean Pegasus are not flying from Gatwick this summer or they just have not released their summer flights yet? if they are no longer flying from Gatwick that is another carrier we will have lost from Gatwick:(

Not sure yet, it's around this time of year they are normally showing, starting mid May to Sept. If Pegasus have Manchester flights and they have Bodrum to Gatwick showing, you would have expected the gatwick ones to be on sale, but still time I hope!!!!
Worth signing up for their e offers etc, it's normal then, to know as soon as they come on sale.
I got my dalaman to Istanbul return last Dec and this Jan for just 50tl in total.
