Hi,my names Alan,I'm a member of 2 other forums,Turkish living and Degalyian.Me and my wife bought a house in Altinkum in Oct 2003 and as we're going to be spending a lot of time in Turkey we would like to visit other places in the country.Thats why we're looking for other forums to see what life is like in other parts of the country.So far we've only had a quick look at the forum but it looks like it is going to be very informative regarding the area of the country you all come from.We look forward to reading more postings and maybe posting some of our own.

Hi Alan, welcome to the forum. most of us have found much of the information we need on this forum and hopefully have been helpful ourselves.

Welcome to the forum.
As you can see, we don`t charge £5 a year to join our community like Degrading forum does.

Hi everybody,thanks for the welcome will certainly try and visit the Calis beach area,in the mean time I will spend my time looking through the postings and I'm sure I will find plenty of useful info on the delights of Turkey.
Hi Mr Crabbit,is it crabbit by name and crabbit by nature,Degalyian isn't such a bad site,£5 isn't a lot of money and it comes back to the members to pay for a meet up during the year.Last year we had a large meet up in Manchester where about 90 members met together for the first time.This year we're all meeting up in Scotland so it's a fiver well spent.It's also a very freindly site where everyone makes sure all new members are made very welcome.
I'm found that reading the postings on this site that this site isn't a lot differant from Degalyian the people are very welcoming and going by all the freindly banter between people its going to be a site worth joining.
