yes, in Karacula 10am onwards. Turkeys for life wrote about it last year and looks great. People who went last year said its a must see and more of a traditional family day out show and didn't witness any cruelty or feel that the camels were distressed in any way.

Saw camel wrestling in Kumluca 3 years ago.Watch out for flying spittle! The male camels are excited by a female camel first to spur them on to wrestle which in turn makes them foam at the mouth! The camels were very well looked after and it was a great day out for both the locals and foreigners alike.

We went last year with children and left before it started.
I found the way it was set up very unsafe.

The entrance was blocked off by two buses which resulted in a 1 metre wide opening.
There were no other exits and the place was fully packed.
Most people are sitting/standing on ground level, not very far from the arena where the animals perform.
I didn't see any cruelty but the camels were hyper.
I don't want to think what could happen if one of these animals escapes.

There were also hundreds of people sitting on a kind of concrete wall/stand with people sitting underneath and in front.
Maybe I'm just overly careful but the whole set up made me very uncomfortable.

From Migros traffic lights turn left away from Fethiye, keep going straight and you will get to Karacula. Not sure where from there, but guess there will be lots of people heading that way.

You can't miss it.
It's on the right side of the main road and cars will be lined up for hundreds of metres.

You'll be better off going on the dolmus rather than trying to find a parking space.

Good advice or park far from the event.

My friend's car got blocked last year.
Several cars had double parked so she couldn't leave.

But...this is Turkey...so a bunch of men lifted a car that blocking her :D
