I just wanted to say a great big THANK YOU to Supacabby (Mark) for the lovely series of photos on his days out and about. Wonderful pics.
They have inspired us to go exploring ourselves. We've been in the Fethiye area for over 4 years and still haven't seen half of the places featured. Great stuff and thanks for sharing.

You're welcome & thanks for sharing the news. Day off tomorrow, I'll be back on Monday, not sure which way yet, it gets awkward when there's only really 3 directions to go in!
Make sure you take some pics & share them with everyone here, lots of folk stuck back in the snowy UK like to get their Calis/Fethiye fix!

supacabby, What about Kalkan, Kas, Kekova, Demre, Finike, Elmali via Arikanda then to Seki and on to Fethiye. can be done in a good day. just a fab journey.

Did you read my mind? Have just sat & written that route out, almost planned exactly that but over 2 days so lots of photo stops en route! Going to make Patara the 1st stop after leaving Calis, pics should be here on Tue night all being well. Probably overnight in Finnike, reckon that's about 1/2 way round.

Supercabby.
Just Perfect. AryKanda is pretty good.Uchisar/Kekova is well worth the detour for pics. Check out Kekova Pansiyon if you make it there. At the bottom of the hill turn right, plenty of parking.

Mark - agree with ovacik2 - definitely try to find Kekova Pansiyon if you can. A really lovely spot - lots of local fish available too yumm.

Be sure to take your phrase book with you to Finike. When we stopped there for a couple of hours we met no-one who spoke English. Very nice little place though, well known to visiting yachtsmen for its marina and boatyard.
Whoops. Just seen the date on the original post. Too late!

Didn't get to AryKanda due to lack of time & some rather nasty weather but did find (by pot luck as I had no map for this area) Ucagiz/Kekova, post will be up with the pics shortly, the most beautiful little harbour town I've found this trip so far.
Colwyn: I find sign language works brilliantly, mind you "Iki Efes" works for most Turks quite well :)
