Or perhaps the secessation of the West Country? We have already gone further down the road than Scotland and now have our own currency - the Bristol Pound. Today it is worth the same as the "Rest-of-the-UK" Pound but if it starts trading strongly against the Euro then this may change. Do any of the Calis/Fethiye banks have plans to accept this currency?

I'm sure you'll find someone in Fethiye who will change your money

I have just read the History section of Bristols Uncyclopedia http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Bristol and Im inclined to agree it should be independant from England
-
I have always liked Bristle let them stay in the UK :o only if they want to[?] its all about choice ;)
-
I do hope they don't decide to have a Bristol Visitor Visa for us Britishers to visit. These can cause confusion. I wonder if people who have one but are actually living in Bristol full time would be able to get the visa run day trip ferry to Newport, or possibly just get the bus to Bath and back.

Are they intending being signatories to the Schwengen Agreement? If so as a foreigner living in Bristol Colwyn you will probably need to get a Residency Permit. ;)
-
That's OK, as long as I don't have to get a Tapu.
-
You might need living permission
-
I should imagine this will be as close as you need to get to a 'Tapu', Colwyn old chap !! Available for pick-up at Bristol Zoo. : :)

If times get tough I'm sure you will be amongst those throwing foodparcels over our frontier fence.
[For those handicapped by youth there are oblique references to the film Passport to Pimlico hidden above].
