I assume that's by taxi. There's loads of info on tranfers if you use the search button facility. We book ours through Travel Republic and their agent is United Blue at Dalaman. Mini bus trasfers and it's approx £9-£11 each return. Drop off and pick at your hotel. Just walk out of airport, look for the United Blue kiosk to your left, check in and you are then directed to your minibus.

campervanbob - you don't say how many people are travelling.

We have used Fethiye Airport Transfers in the past - not the cheapest at £ 70 for 4 -6 people but immaculate service.

Just booked this morning with Travel Republic for May. £18.90 return total for the missus and I. They drop us off and pick us up outside Violet  8). They use Fethiye based United Blue who I've now had about 5 times with no problems  8)

Hi Janet,

I am a regular reader but not a regular writer on CBF and i am just one of the Mercedes mini-van drivers at www.fethiyeairporttransfers.com so when i saw your question here i have called some of my friends who are currently working at Transfer Only they have said me that they will pick you up at your confirmed time in front of Carrefour at your confirmed date...

Have a safe journey

Kindest regards,

Dorado from F.A.T.

That is a nice gesture from Dorado. We have just booked for April with A2B £21 for the two of us from airport and back.Personally I would not pay £90 that is a bit too much but then my hubby is a Scotsman so would not let me (only joking scots members:D)the top of the page (top right) there is a search button if you click on that and type in what you are searching for there will be info related to your search.hope that is a help to you :)

Have a look here Campervanbob. http://www.travelrepublic.co.uk/airporttransfers/apcriteria.aspx

Put your details in and you will get a quote. Don't consider paying silly money for tranfers from Dalaman when so many options are available to you. All liscened and safe

Toky - I tried that and it came up with the following

Shuttle Bus (per person) = £ 10
Taxi (up to 4 persons    = £ 80
3 Person Taxi            = £ 87

(1) I cannot get my head around why a 3 Person Taxi is more than a 4 person.

(2) I have never used the Shuttle Bus but the other two quotes are dearer than Fethiye Airport Transfers.

Used A2B 3 times last year, excellent service, works out approximately £28 for 2 return to Deliktas (Fethiye), well pleased with them.  :)

We've only ever used the shuttle bus Highlander and never once had a problem on the journey to and from the airport. Return journey pick up has always been right on time, including a pick up time one year of 2.25am! We've paid £21.78 for May this year and that's in total for a return journey for 2 people. Just great value IMHO.

It is indeed Toky. :)

My point is only that if there are a number in the party then it might be worth considering a private transfer. This is especially the case if there are 6 people - F.A.T for example would work out at £ 23.33 return for 2.

Having never used the shuttle bus can I ask - can you book it to suit your personal flight times or does it wait for other flights as well.

Depends on how many passengers it has booked on your specific flight John, I've been the 1st on the bus & waited 15 mins or so before leaving the airport (always a cold Efes in the fridge supplied by the driver to ease the pain!) & also been the last on & left straight away.

A2B can't be beaten in my opinion, 1st class service time & again & the 1 "blip" I had (iffy driver - can happen to any company) was dealt with in a professional & efficient manner by the head office.

When booking, you put you flight arrival time in and the flight details, likewise the homeward details. Only once did we have to wait on minibus for a period of 15mins and that was to wait for an elderly lady who was in a wheelchair, to be wheeled out of airport by staff. Every other time we've left almost immediatly and never has the bus been full. Once we were the only ones on the bus and another time there werw just 4 of us on it. United Blue have several minibuses at the airport waiting. We normally go May and September but they don't seem to mind leaving with minibuses which aren't full, Highlander. Go on, try it. You know you want to ha ha

My sentiments are the same as your's Scabby (sorry but I loved Toky's abbreviation of your name Mark):DThe most I have waited at the airport is about 40 mins as my flight was the first one in, my last trip mine was the last flight so we left straight away.My one blip when they were rather late on pick up,(they had to go back to the office to pick up a baby seat)was dealt with fantastically on my return to the uk best customer service I have ever received :)

The minibus was already waiting for us

I'm with H. Fethiye Airport Transfers every time. Superb vehicles & drivers, no waiting around, cold water & face wipes in case you are hot after arriving, all in all, superb door to door service.

After reading this topic yesterday, I have booked with Travel Republic for the first time for our first visit of the year, in early April.  We normally have a private taxi, which costs about £60 return (we have always used the same place, so they give us an excellent price   :) ).

Thought we'd try the shuttle bus as there are only 3 of us travelling together.  Total cost was less than £27 return.  As we have four visits this year, this is a good saving, moreso when only me and hubby are flying (less than £18 return).   8)

Will give it a try on everyone else's recommendation.  By the way, Travel Republic use A2B Transfers according to the receipt.   ;)

Mine's is for United Blue. Maybe use different companies early or late season, julesbob0303

I can honestly say it's the transfers are the best value for money ever.

It's good to hear that they are very reliable.  You just can't beat the price.  We will save over £200 this year on transfers alone, if we use the shuttle service rather than a private taxi.  :D

Desk 21/22 is the 1st desk you come to on the right hand side after exiting the airport & going down the slope into the coach park area. All the transfer companies have their own desks which are signed, very simple & easy to find.

We use A2b all the time now Julie our private transfer company were excellent but as I often go on my own and then hubby joins me it was just too much to pay out. A2b are great their desk is simple to find and they have your name and desination on their clipboard so are expecting you :)

we used A2B for the first time this May, they do tell you that you could wait up to one hour as other flights may be due, we thought no we wont wait that long  :), but we had to wait 50 minutes for others on another flight due in, although at the time it seemed a pain to be hanging around we soon forgot about it when we arrived safely at apartment and realised we had saved £50 by using them. the driver drove very carefull and on our return we were collected just under 3 hours before our flight was due and went straight to the airport.

the wait has not put us off as we will be using them again september..

we used A2B for at the first try this May, they do tell you that you could delay up to one time as other routes may be due, we believed no we probably won't delay a long time .
Title: Re: Airport Transfers

It all depends on which other flights the driver is waiting for. When I used them this month I had a two hour delay from Gatwick and was a little worried about what would happen regarding my transfer, it was all good, we waited for three other passengers from the same flight and two other people from a different flight all in all about thirty minutes well worth it for the money I save on private transfers.
They also totally looked after me on the return transfer (I was stll a bit of a mess as I was leaving Turkey 6 hours after the earthquake) the lovely driver stopped at a little market and bought me a cold bottle of water without me asking (maybe he sensed I would need it to swallow  my valium down  ha  ;)but would accept no money.
When I emailed A2b to thank them for the lovely service they also said they would have come and got me sooner had I wanted to leave not sure where I would have gone to! but honestly my own personal opinion they are fantastic and at around £11 return what a fab price  :)  :)

They are excellent. My son was singing their praises the other day, again they  stopped for water at no charge.
On return a little early to Gatwick,  he got on a train, and then got asked to get off at the next stop because the ticket wasn't for that particular train time.
He got off and onto the next one which was busier.

He couldn't help but compare the attitude of the 2 personnel and wasn't impressed at the welcome back to England mentality.

We've used them ourselves loads of times, and for guests too. Always reliable and on time.

We did have Michael Schumacher on one occasion, but did tell them in their follow up questionnaire.
