We're Graham and Anna and have bought a villa near the little Birlik restaurant on the beach at Koca Calis.
We'll be there for most of July and August this summer.

Welcome - You have selected a great part of the area to buy. We too are near the Alperin and enjoy the Berlik. The Alperin did good food last year but the management has changed hands so not sure what will happen this year.
Near the Berlik the Take Inn will be open - a group of us from the area had a great night there last week. The owner lives localy and interested in what people want. Nice to have a good choice in the area without the inflated prices.

          where is Koca Calis and the Birlik, we've not heard of that area, is it towards Fethiye?

John,
The Birlik is right at the opposite end of the beach from the Fethiye side, walk right to the end of the promenade past the Dolmus station and keep walking till you get there - its worth it! Then you'll see the Alperin hotel to your right you can't miss it - its painted pink.

Congratulations on your purchase Graham and Anna. Our house isn.t far from the Birlik either, where exactly have you bought?

Lucky you being able to spend so long there. We are there in 10 days and then again in august so may see you around!

Thanks Val, we're up that end at Palm Beach more or less in from Istanbul Apts and the Pelin so we'll take a stroll up there next time we're there 1st week May.
