Title: Dalglish
Post by: anna-marie01 on March 13, 2012, 08:56:39 AM
After all the euphoria of King Kenny's return a year ago,i dont see a lot of difference. last season 27 games 39 points, this season 27 games 39 points plus 44 million spent on transfers, didn't Roy Hodgson get the sack for this same form. How long has he got before he starts getting votes of confidence from the board ?

Tinx your team's performance has never stopped you knocking other teams, nor indeed has it stopped me either.  Attack being the best form of defence :) :)  However Anne Marie has more than a fair point about Liverpool's league performance, after all the hype about King Kenny's return.  Which wasn't helped by his crass behaviour over Suarez.

The point is that you'll never last as a manager unless you have the backing of the fans. On that I think he's ok  ;)

Liverpool fans have usually been the more patient set of fans
when it comes to giving their managers time to get it right, and though with his squad I think he's a mile or ten off, the fans will give him another year

I believe there are other reasons why the fans will give Kenny Dalglish more time than any other manager.

Not least of which is that "he is one of them"

Kenny looks like he's aged about 40 years since he took this job on. Let's face it - it's a massive task to revive this club right now and I'm not sure he's up to it or wants it.

There may be alot of truth in that stoop.

I believe Kenny's biggest problem would have been, having been asked, there was probably no way he would have felt he could refuse because the football club, the city and the people are in his blood.

Very rare I have heard anyone calling for KK to leave, and I think we all have to be patient, we got rid of the other two, Gillette & Hicks, which was a great relief, there was no hard feelings over Woys departure and the fans wanted KK back in the club, because he is Liverpool through and through, this is a man who attended the funeral of every victim of Hillsborough, a huge undertaking, so we can understand why he left when he did, he has a great passion for the club, because he is the club, you only had to look at the tears in his eyes at the Carling Cup Final, quite possibly the job is too much for him at his age, but the club is a work in progress and we will have to wait and see, We are not ready for the CL yet, not good enough, personally, I think 2014 will be our year, and if we still have KK then we will be delighted, We love him, no matter what happens. ;)

What next Used BT, ! have read a huge difference of opinion today, and find myself between the devil and the deep blue sea, nothing will change my love for LFC, and the bottom line is, there is too many chiefs and not enough indians in any football club these days, bring back the passion and sack the gold diggers. ;) could elaborate, but it would not make sense, (too late) ;)

As i put on my original post how long before the vote of confidence,he got that last night, just after the owners sacked two other members of staff.

well the arsenal fans were baying for wengers blood at one time anna, and all quiet now they have had a good run,but they might have got rid of him.
liverpool fans are happy with kenny at the moment, but you never know in football, hoping they will beat
everton in the cup,the weekend, that will help.

They now have a worse home record than the year they were relegated,KK is really in desperate need of a cup win.
