Title: Thomas Cook cancelled an Aberdeen flight???
Post by: littlereddevil on March 18, 2012, 19:22:53 PM: TC had flights out of Aberdeen Monday and Thursday all through the summer. Now they are only showing Thursday flights??

Remember T.C. are the only Agents that fly to Dalaman from Aberdeen and the flights are very popular. I have never heard so many people in my area saying they are going to Turkey this year. My son's friend booked for September recently and was lucky to get one of the last tickets for flights when he wanted to travel.

Post by: Scunner on March 18, 2012, 21:49:28 PM: I saw them last week while planning one of my annual "See I'm not banned after all" visits to Turkey. Definitely there, then all definitely not. It would be impossible for them all to sell out on the same afternoon for each and every week of the season.

My best guess would be that they weren't going well and the arrangement with Pegasus was pulled.

Post by: Ray1951 on March 19, 2012, 10:10:19 AM: IF the Aberdeen flights are so popular on a Monday, you would have thought logically that it would be good business sense to add MORE flights and not just rely on filling the Thursday flights. Doesn't make sense. Supply & demand.

Probably when he chose hs seat H. If you are one of the last there won't be much to choose from. Scunner could be correct ;)
