The tomatoes from Guernsey are now winging their way to Marks and Spencer shops.The crop is 4 weeks early.Thank goodness 'cause I don't buy foreign tomatoes.Mine won't be ready until July probably,but they are the best :)The grandchildren pick them from the plant and eat them[^]

I grew my own for the first time last year and you are right about the grand kids!   Trouble was I became impatient waiting for them to ripen and sod's law, most ripened whilst we were away!  Really delicious and the smell........fab.
