Title: Pelican Cafe - Beware!
Post by: philrose on April 14, 2012, 07:07:56 AM: Watch out for this one, some friends went there yesterday and he tried to charge them 21TL for a (small) wine and a beer!
I don't know if it's actually called the Pelican but it's the place where 2 pelicans could be found when they were around near to the fish in bread boats.
Always thought this guy a bit dodgy as he used to have a big tip box outside labeled "For pelican food", funny, but I thought pelicans where quite capable of hunting thier own meals...

Thank goodness the pelicans left, I did not like sitting anywhere close to piles of...

I think it is a shame that these little shacks etc. are disappearing from Fethiye. Its what we loved about it. I remember the guy in Gocek who stood up to the council and in fact to them to court and won his case but it still came down in the end.
