Hi,

just joined the forum here after abusing it for quite a while  ;)

We had our first ever visit to Turkey last september, had a couple of very enjoable weeks at the Kaan hotel being looked after admirably by Kaan and the family.

We came across the forum after we had booked so we spent our time post validating our holiday choice and gleaning valuable information about Calis.

Must admit, felt pleased that so many people have such positive views about Calis but also felt a little intimidated by the knowledge gap we had - hence we only 'lurked'.

Still, we are about to book again for this year and we thought it only right and proper that we became active on the forum.

So, to sum up, Hi all  8)

We are off to Calis in May and can't wait.
The site is very useful and good fun.

Hi Kevin and Sharon, I'm making my first visit to Calis in August, cannot wait!!  I've been to Turkey before but never Calis. This forum is fabulous for getting a feel of the place and I am in love with Calis before I've even been!  I lurk a lot, post occasionally...

Hi Kevin & Sharon & welcome, I stayed at Kaans quite a few times, great place, it's the one thing i miss since buying my appartment, I fly on Monday for 19 days & i'm taking a dartboard over for him from a mate who stays there a lot, he'll be there 13th May. ASK Kaan about the 2 postmen called Alan are, I'm the only one who have 2 keys cos i either slept outside the door or in the reading room, lol. Alan

Hi Kevin and Sharon welcome to the forum. It's really quite addictive isn't it? Duncan and I are due to go out on the 2nd May 11 days and ten hours to go - can't wait . Hopefully we Heidi can find us somewhere to buy and get it all wrapped up in the week. I'm sure we will manage, I am just soooo excited!! kind regards Mary.

Just had a mooch around and found the XL flight deal, so we have (hopefully) even saved some 'Effes' money. - Great!
