Hi All
We are Ken and Sue from Lancashire and bought a property at the Gunlukbashi end of Calis last September. Had a week in January to supplement furnishings and a week in April to show the kids (Grown up) and collect our Tapu. I'll be meithering later about TV matters.
Thanks to Anne and Billy for introduction to website and forum.

You are very welcome - like yourself I was introduced to the forum - never met many of the members (maybe three or four all-told) but the most informative, friendly and sometimes a wee bit 'nippy' a bunch you will never find anywhere else - really a great bunch of people.

I am sure you will find the various threads extremely interesting and will receive all the assistance you need

Welcome to the forum.  We also bought our place last September and have just got back from a 2 week furnishing trip, which was made all the easier from the info we received from this forum.  Everyone is really helpful.  Although I live in Devon and have done for many years, I am originally from Lancashire so it was good to see the word "meithering" again! lol

We would just like to thank everbody who has responded to our new member posting. The more we are learning from the forum about the place and the people the more happy we are with our venture.
Looking forward to meeting more people in Calis but unfortunately this year not until late September.
