Lidl''s have a Mosquito Plug for sale as from today. It has a Blue UVA light that attracts Mossies and you just plug it into the wall. Mossies go into an easy to clean removable container. It's child and pet save. Low energy consumption. Guaranteed for three years. It's £7.99.
Good idea if you put one in the bedroom and don't want to inhale chemicals all night. ;)

They are like a small version of the ones you see in butchers etc. We bought a couple about two years ago and use one in the en suite and one in the bathroom - handy for guiding the way during the night too!!

Sorry, they are not on sale until 2nd July. The leaflet had 28th on the top, but the page with the plugs had 2nd July on the top of it. Did not notice that.

You can find them on Ebay here

After looking at this one on Ebay I will still buy the one in Lidl's. Lidl's looks much more substantial and it has a 3 year guarantee. I think you get what you pay for and the comparison here looks like Rolls Royce and Skoda.
However, thanks for pointing it out.

True you get what you pay for at lidl

Totally agree Graham, I have had some cracking bargains from Lidl's, that have been great quality, don't know how they do it. I note a lot of the consumer pages in the newspapers when comparing products very often give Lidl's top marks.

Lidly and Aldi are two excellent shops, both have come a long way since they first appeared in Britain. Aldi's washing up liquid is excellent value and just as good, if not better, than Fairy. Aldi and Lidl both get very good reviews from the Good Housekeeping Institute and other consumer watchdogs such as Which.
Like you Jacqui, I have had many good quality bargains over the years.

Bought in the 99p store a gadget that goes on a key ring it makes a low level buzzing sound its about the size of a bookmakers pen and it supposed to make the noise of a male Mozzie, every one in my family laughed when I bought it home, but i had the last laugh as when in June we tried it out in our heavily Mozzie invested area ok Koca Calis You could put your arm on the table watch the Mozzie land and start to bite we then turn on the gadget and off they would fly, we tried this a few times when the Mozzies was biting in the evenings and it definitely worked not another bite all week while it was turned on, a bargain i say at 99p it even worked when on in the Mrs bag

Bitenekadar.com is selling what looks like the ones that Jacqui is describing.
They costs 13.90 TL + 3.50 TL.
According to the description the mozzies are attracted by the blue light and then electrocuted.
