Akdeniz is a bit vague though don't you think... we felt it too but I suppose this is when one needs to know ones longitudes and latitudes as well   ;)

Barely felt it sunlover - you and others may well have been here when we have had similar tremors and not even noticed them. That is part of every day life here.

I think we all have a heightened sense of awareness at the moment and I keep imagining them when they aren't even happening   ;)

there are quakes nearly every day - as is the norm for the area so hardly worth mentioning.

The 6.0 figure has to be considered along with its depth - also its location was much farther south than the previous months ones - so may even be on a different fault. The colour coding used by the experts gives a better idea of severity. http://www.koeri.boun.edu.tr/sismo/

By the way it was windy last night.

5.6 on Quakefeed. If you go on that site you will see there are many per day but most are below 3.0.

my above post saying it could stop people coming to Calis does NOT refer to me   :), this would not stop me coming to Calis...

just was saying that people who have never been and are thinking about it might be put off...

but thats all the better for us regulars  ;)
