Title: Dolphins!

Out walking the dog this morning at 6.30 and saw 2 dolphins 100m off the beach slowly swimming toward the island and into Fethiye :D

How lucky Tinx! I've never seen them anytime, despite continually looking out to sea for them when we're on the beach.
And what a lovely peaceful time to be out and about.

We were out there mid May to mid June.  One day, I think just after the earth quake, we were sunbathing on the beach at the Sat close to the jetty when we saw two dolphins literally about 10 feet away from us against the barrier which connects to the jetty.  They then swam towards Calis towards the Surf Cafe.  We watched them for what seemed like ages.  Very moving ;D

Best time to catch them is dawn and dusk  ;)

We had a fabulous show from the Dolphins whilst celebrating my 60th birthday in the Nil bar in May. There was 3 of them and it was the first time we had seen them. It made my day!!
