you can contact stefan at the card shop in fethiye,,he brings things over and takes back to the uk in his van,he has a facebook page called Anything goes from uk.

Get in touch with Stefan at the Card Shop in Fethiye, he is so reliable, has just moved my sister in laws chattells over from the Highlands of Scotland to Calis - superb service.

Agree with Keith. sounds like a very dodgy operation and if not a registered transportation business then you dont have a leg to stand on if van gets nicked, burnt, seized by customs etc which will more likely happen soon if the same vehicle keeps crossing borders. Although good intentions are meant, you never know when some drug, smuggler, terrorist could abuse this facebook offer and no matter how much you check the packages, would you bet your freedom on it?
Use a proper legal transportation company and those ones that make the offer to take stuff...think again, after all you wouldnt take a package through the airport if some person you hardly knew gave it to you for transportation.

Precisely why I mentioned UPS, Starman. All properly insured, guaranteed timed delivery, no chance of anyone faffing around with your packages etc. But, Hey Ho, you pays yer money, you takes yer chances !!

From personal experience:
1: Stefan tried to increase the quoted price the day before he was due to collect my stuff.
2: He refused to show any kind of insurance to cover my goods whilst in his care.
3: He emailed me saying that if anything got confiscated at the border all his customers on that run would be liable to pay a % of the bribe to the customs officer.
As someone said above, you pays your money & takes your chances.

So the above is an illegal operation and why would you pay a bribe if the goods were confiscated anyway?
My advice to anyone thinking of doing this, being the shipper or shippee.....DONT!

Yep, I agree with Starman. If you give anyone your possessions to carry under those terms you might just as well put them straight on a bonfire and save the cost and hassle.
