With sales having fallen from a peak of 2 million to a mere 8000, The Dandy is to close - and so that's the end of Desperate Dan ............ unless he goes digital (imagine that DDD - Digital Desperate Dan) or switches his allegiance to The Beano and joins Dennis the Menace

Apparantly the publishers will still produce a Dandy Annual
