Title: Rudeness
Post by: Highlander on August 21, 2012, 13:39:01 PM
Am sat in the office having to listen to this woman rabbiting on while chewing a mouthful of food.

One of the rudest practices I know of >:( > :( >:(

if they did this while chewing their food and could drive then they would get hired as Dolmus drivers

There's no need to quote the message above you...it's above you and doesn't need to be repeated...just reply..!

I wouldn't talk to someone who is eating, I'd tell them to call back once they had finished their lunch. I had a twerp on the phone not so long ago who started laughing and when the amusement subsided enough he said he was sorry about that, his colleague was throwing screwed up paper at him. Of course I immediately hung up.

I'd go and wait inline somewhere else...........in another shop.....................after I'd stacked the goods I intended buying on their desk or conveyor.

People who park their trolley parallel to the very part of the aisle you need something from, and do nothing as you stretch over it to reach what you need.

A female where I worked, had such vile table manners that I took to eating lunch in my car in the middle of winter rather than hear the food being chewed with open mouth and see those bitten down nails gouging off pieces of banana and hear her suckingit into her mouth.  Made me want to vomit.

People who eat off my plate at lunchtime. Can't stand it....if they want a crisp buy a bl**dy packet!

You put your crisps on a plate? How posh :D

Something similar annoys me - I'll stop at a petrol station and get a can of drink. I'll ask Mrs Scunner if she wants one. "No, I'll just have a drink of yours" - grrrr drives me mad. Mine is mine, I'd rather buy her one :D

I always put my sandwich and crisps on a plate, cant help it.
A few years ago I was tidying our tea room and spotted an apple with a bite taken out of it sitting on a shelf going brown. I was about to chuck it in the bin, when a colleague said 'that's mine....I couldn't eat it all for lunch, so I'm saving it for later'......Is that minging or what?.

Shelf stackers in the supermarket who won't stand aside to let me get what I want - and then "tut" when I spoil their display by taking an item off the shelf they are filling.

My biggest rudeness hate is when I am sitting at a T junction waiting to pull out to a main road, and some idiot I saw 200 metres away on the main road and am waiting to pass, indicates 2 metres from the junction and turns into the road I am coming out of.

Should one ever stall I swear I would kill them.

In a supermarket and spent over £100 on food and the checkout person starts slamming them down the counter for me to pack.  I asked why was she chucking them down, her answer was,  I have had a bad day.  Great! Obviously taking it out on the customer. :-\

I could go on and on.

Don't you just hate it when cars are double parked in a road and you pull in to allow on-coming traffic through first and they just sail by without a nod or wave by way of thank you? Makes my teeth itch grrr!

1) People who insist on hogging the middle lane on motorways.
2) People helping themselves to food on my plate.
3) Friends/relatives who make unplanned/unannounced visits to your house.

If you are driving a car, what is wrong to being in the middle lane? Surely you don't want them to drive in the lorry lane?

Middle lane owners club its called ,that one winds me up ,just will not move over when nothing in inside lane !  >:(

What motorways do you use? On the ones I travel, there are always vehicles on the inside line. Or are you one of the I-hate-people-who-hog-middle-lane-because-I-want-to-hog-myself folk? Or as otherwise known, the Jeremy (nobody should be allowed to use roads except me) Clarkson Appreciation Society.

The M6 south through Cumbria/Lancashire is full of them - and there can often be nothing on the inside lane for as far as the eye can see, but still they cruise up the middle lane at 60 mph. When you pass, they are often leaning forward, thick glasses about 2" from the windscreen.

I'm sure people don't know they should keep left unless overtaking , happens loads of times on lots of different motorways.

I always am overtaking. OK, the lorry may be half a mile ahead but I'll be catching up with it in two or three minutes. What's wrong with you lot in the Middle Lane Whingers Brigade? Why do you get all wound up about such a banal triviality? You should stay in more.

I say we should start a campaign for middle laners to be banned from driving until they learn the highway code. The country's traffic problems solved!!

And what is the procedure on a relatively quiet stretch of motorway where you might be travelling at 70 in the inside lane and approach a middle laner doing 65? To pass them do you really have to go from lane 1 to lane 3 then back to lane 1?
Title: Re: Rudeness

Thats the legal way to do it ,but what a pain.
Title: Re: Rudeness

The biggest problem is that effectively they cause build-ups of traffic as everyone has to queue to get passed. This is multiplied when it involves trucks as they cannot use the third lane. As stan says, legally you are obliged to go from lane 1 -3 and back again. Trucks tend to ignore this and undertake them on the inside lane. Hogging the middle lane is just ignorant in my opinion

Not difficult to keep to the left ,unless you are overtaking. Simples .  :D
