Title: Paradise Beach Bar
Post by: bells on August 21, 2012, 16:53:14 PM
After giving the Surf Cafe another try to see if the service you get had changed since we were out there in June. They could'nt have cared less if they served you or not.  It had not changed, so we decided to give Paradise beach a try.  It is about 10 minute walk further from the Surf Cafe.  What a difference, greeted on arrrival, friendly and always someone around to serve you.  Lots of sun beds, bean bags in sun or shade (free).  Food was good not over priced.  A very relaxing place.  Will go there in future and give the surf cafe a miss.

We were in the Surf Beach club today, service was fine, as usual.  It depends which one you go in.  The one nearest the surf equipment hire place is the best one but they do not serve alcohol.  The second one in is the bad one, but they serve alcohol.

Where is the Paradise Beach Bar in relation to the Surf Cafe?

Continue past Surf cafe and bear left , along the block paved road, After 2 or 300 yards you will see Mutlu beach then a few yards past that you will see Paradise beach. Which is next door to Captains beach.

Thanks appolo.
I like the general area but, like some others, I was very disappointed by the Surf Cafe when we were there in June.
Will give Paradise Beach a visit in September.

Went to Paradıse beach last nıght. Food was good and hot .The garden areas need to be looked at as ıt was very scruffy. Grass needs cuttıng and ıt seems a shame as they have put ın lovely seatıng areas and lıghts. Also we could not ıdentıfy who the staff were out of all the people there. If we go more often we wıll suss ıt.

disappointed with Paradise beach bar, asked for iced coffee, and the cost, 3 tl, so we asked for 4

When it arrived she said normal Nescafé is 3 but iced coffee is 5.
Still relatively reasonable, but we all tried it and it was horrible, basically cold weak Nescafé with a splash of milk, no sugar, so we sent it back and explained it was tasteless.
Even at 3 tl it wouldn't have been drinkable!
Had cola instead.
Later asked  for cay, was told there was no Turkish cay, only Liptons, so settled on a Nescafé, asked for it strong after the iced coffee scenario, it was just undrinkable, the water wasn't boiling, tasted as if it had come straight from the hot tap, really nasty.

Some of the group had full English breakfast, which they said was lovely and good value at 10tl for the size of it.

The grass areas were very scruffy, and the beach covered in fag ends.

Loads of staff doing nothing much, ( apart from drinking Turkish cay ! ) the lady who served us was quite miserable and looked like she didn't really want to be there.
Totally lacking in atmosphere.

Wouldn't go back again.

I agree the staff were so layed back I thought they were the customers. The place needed a make over very scruffy and no thought of lay out.If you want to spend a relaxing enjoysble day at a beach club try the Şat club or Aksazlar both a much better in every possible way even prices.

Went here as part of the Jeep Safari tour which was excellent however the purpose of this stop is so the photographer of the tour can download his photos and sell them which is no problem as I bought a DVD.
BUT---we ordered 1effes,1glass of wine and 2 soft drinks. Total 30 tl.
These drinks cost 18 in Calis resort.
A real rip off!
