I know this is probably in the wrong place, but did not want it to sit at the back somewhere,
We eventually went to Cagatay the dentist, because Kenny's tooth fell out on the way to Calis, instead of getting the one tooth sorted he actually sorted seven of them out, We went in with a plan B, but can honestly say, we never needed it, his approach etc was honest and direct, he could do this, or could do that, with no pressure whatsoever, Kenny is well pleased with the result and even smiles lately, ;) made up with him, I asked about a little chip at the back of my crown and he looked at it and said, maybe next year, a nice man, and an excellent dentist with an excellent technician, so if you are gummy, go for it, Kenny's dentures, have now been binned, :P
-
When I see him I will suggest your tag line Moe..."Cagatay Aras - If you are gummy go for it" - I'm sure he'll get loads of new clients ;)
He is everything you say, a brilliant dentist, pressure free service and a really nice guy. I recommend him all the time (maybe even to you/Kenny, I can't quite remember!). I am shocked to hear that Kenny smiles now though...
-
I would like to add to this recommendation. Shaun has been dentally challenged for the most part of this year due to the NHS dentist chipping his veneer, then getting an infection and subsequently being fitted with a temporary bridge. Having seen the Donny Osmond smile that Kenny had been given he went to see Cagatay Aras with Kenny and after 4 or 5 appointments has had his Hollywood smile restored! Delighted with the result !

Yes Keith, you did tell us about him, thank you,
He's actually going to try and get to England to watch the Galatasary game, so I hope he enjoys it, and his team wins, ;)
-
me too totally agree with all the above posts he is fantastic dentist, hoping to be able to last out until October for a filling that I am pretty sure i need doing :)
-
I absolutely agree, I went to see him last month...terrified of dentists, he has a lovely way about him and is excellent at what he does and as laffa says no pressure what so ever.......I am so glad I saw the recommendations on CBF and went to see him.....although my mate Jo who had been to him put my mind at rest to....but I would HIGHLY recommend him.......
-
P.S. Keith...and Moe...I would just like to say I wasn't actually gummy......!!!...you know that Moe as you saw me...lol x
-
yes June, and your temps looked good too, but still think walking round like Billy Dainty for a week is worth it in the end, ;)not you, I mean Kenny, lol

My husband just finished a weeks intensive treatment with Cagatay and was very impressed, both with the treatment and the price.
-
I have just had two white fillings done with Cagatay one tooth was broken and needed a pin also i had a clean and polish and this thing I cant explain it he kind of blasted my teeth with it (you can not have it if you asmathtic) was just brilliant my teeth have never felt so clean it helps to remove any staining... I am thinking about having all my old silver fillings replaced by him, I know it is weird but I actually find it a pleasant experience going to Cagatay as he is so good and his surgery is a relaxing place ;D
-
I'm off to see Cagatay again on Tuesday re a couple of crowns. I have already had 12 veneers done with him and they are amazing. His quality of work is unbelievable and I have no hesitation in recommending him!! He's the best!!!
-
Hi, Nice to hear such good praise, where is he please. Think I may need him!
-
Taken from another post......
From water taxi - go through to street where the banks and Burger King are. Standing outside Migros (ex-Carrefour) you will see the fairly modern silvery building across the road and to the right a little. Use the side entrance (Burger King end), up the stairs, first door left at the top of the stairs.

I have also had a crown done by Cagatay and it is fab ;D The building where his practice is is called the Lykia, just make sure you are at the right practice as on my first appointment I had gone into another place good job i said the name Cagatay (did not know what he looked like at the time) as I may have not had such a good outcome... His logo is the shape of a tooth with his name on it is really easy to find Pauline :)
-
Thank you very much peeps!

Had my appointment with Cagatay this morning ,4 teeth out and can honestly say didn't feel a thing and touchwood still no discomfort , back on Monday for temporary teeth till next visit when he will finish the job with bridges.
-
For anybody interested in having some treatment from Cagatay, check out the Promises Auction list where there is a whole range of treatments on offer.
-
Definitely worth checking out the auction promises under the health section of the list as we have five different lots of treatment "promised" by Cagatay which would cost well over £5,000 in UK. He is such a generous man
-
5 years ago I had a quote in the UK for £1,000 for a crown. I went that summer to Cagatay and had several teeth sorted - two bridges covering 7 teeth. The cost was £600. His service is always excellent. 5 years on I havent been back with any problems at all.
-
Is Cagatay SGK registered please
-
I thınk you wıll fınd that SGK only applıes to emergancy dentısts at the Hospıtals not prıvate ones.
