We used this Restaurant in June and then went down and gave them a map to our home, which is 5 minutes drive away. They gave us a reference number and we used them to deliver meals to us.
So, tonight, we rang them and gave them our reference number, they then told us the name of our Villa to confirm they knew us and they said they would be half and hour. We waited for 1 hour, no show. We rang them and they then asked for our exact address. We gave them directions 20 minutes later, still waiting we rang them again and cancelled the meal as we knew it would be cold by now and the guy on the bike must be wandering around looking for us. We have now rung Pizza Callisto and they will be here in 30 minutes. So the advice is, if Shanghai Blue have given you a house reference number and you ring up to order, do not expect a delivery. We are at a loss to understand why they said they knew where we are when they don't.
We will not use them again. >:( :(

Guests on Violet had a delivery whilst we were over. They said the meal was disgusting and that it ALL went in the bin.
So, never having tried either the restaurant on their delivery service I think we will now give it a miss.

Whereabouts is this restaurant - not the new chinese on B Manco is it? I will be disappointed if it is as it was lovely food when we went in June and almost opposite where we stay so very convenient.

Yes it is the new chinese, we used them twice in August and the food was amazing.we found the service really good apart from the delivery man did not speak much English.
I think it can be hit and miss as we had a similar incident with Pizza Callisto, we texted an order and did not get the normal reply text to say order had been received so about forty minutes later I sent another text, still nothing so hubby phoned them (cost me £10 for the call as we don't have a Turkish mobile) the chap said the text had gone to his dad's phone it was one of the two numbers on the menu. It was just a misfortunate misunderstanding and we used them again a few days later with no problems at all :)

We're arriving late Saturday so out of sheer convenience, will give them another chance - will let you know if it's thumbs up or down.

Just to add, we ordered from Pizza Calisto and they said it would be half an hour.. We then received a call from Shanghai Blue asking us to come down this week and we would get a free meal !! We don't think we will bother. Pizza Calisto arrived after about 25 minutes and the meal was very good as usual, however, we were so hungry by then anything would have done!!!!

They have at least acknowledged the shortfall in service and are trying to make amends.....

A place with dark and wet evenings at the moment! It kind of makes takeaway service quite appealing...

Don't see a thing wrong with a Take Away. We eat out about 95% of the time, so a chill out night with a take away is fine, plus the Pizza place do very good Pide. I know I had one. If we all ate out all the time the take away places would go out of business.

many thanks I was pretty internetless so we decided to walk down there and see and stopped for a beer at PJ's bar on the way, it was open so we had a really nice meal in there.
We knew the pizza delivery had shut for the season so thought the chinese may have been the same.
If you cant be bothered to go out or cook I think it is brilliant to have a choice of take aways particularly when they deliver to your door.
We had a gorgeous meal at Aydin Pide and Jimmy gave us the number to call them as they also do deliveries :)so will be giving them a try in the summer for a takeaway ;)
