For those of you who are unaware, FETAV Fest takes place at Calis Aquapark tonight, starting at 7.30 pm. The event is to raise money both for the FETAV bursaries and also the administrative expenses of FETAV which is the foundation that all of the local charities legally operate under and without them we would all be non-starters. We are all supporting this event and will be there.
With around 5 hours of live music and dancing featuring both Turkish and English acts, it should be a really good night. Tickets are on sale at the gate at 15TL which includes your first drink free. After that all drinks will cost 5TL - whether it be a large beer, wine or Turkish spirits (excluding import drinks). Soft drinks will cost 3 TL. Also all food items whether it be hamburger, toast, kofte will be 5TL.
It has to be the one of the best deals of the season so hope to see you tonight for a great party :)

Fabulous nite at the Aqua Park, heavily attended and much money raised. Well done George who stepped in do host the auction. Live music all evening and Paul Wynter (Ian) was fantastic.

Brilliant night - there must have been 400-500 people there and it was great to see all the local charities unite and support FETAV who they all legally operate under. I understand from speaking to the British Consulate Mustafa Sikman that they are hoping to organise these FETAV Fests twice a year in the Spring and in The Autumn. Ian from Kismet was great and George (Rimms) from the 3C's was a brilliant auctioneer. Well done everyone involved :)

It was a smashing night and was really nice to see all of the charities there working together, I really enjoyed the entertainment and especially the two English vocalists who I have never seen before but will definitely look out for in the future.
I must also thank all who took part in the auction, it made my job so much easier ! But a very special mention must go to the person who bid 1.400 lira for that beautiful original water colour of the Uzumulu Wine House.
Also, thanks FETAV for putting on such a great value for money night, it was great just paying 5tl for any drink or food choice, I certainly noticed the difference when called into a bar on the main strip for a night cap on the way home !
