There is a classical music concert in Fethiye tonight (5th Oct) and also I think for a couple more nights.
It's at the Culture centre in Fethiye and starts at 8.30pm.
I couldn't see how much it cost (if price was mentioned at all) as I was trying to read the posters small print from my scooter at a busy traffic junction.
Someone may be interested! There are posters up around Fethiye for anyone that wants more info.

I used to love going to concerts when I was studying music at high school. Anyone who has never been to one should try it once. You might be surprised how much you enjoy it and how many tunes you recognise.

I have read the Turkey for life website and the posters advertising tonight's free event.
I am confused by the decription of the venue. Turkey for life indicates Fethiye harbour but my interpretation of the posters is somewhere on the coast road close to the road maintenance depot.
Can anyone shed any more light on this?

I had another look on my way into town earlier.
Yesterday (Thus) and tomorrow's (sat) concerts are at another venue. It was not a name I recognized. Just tonight's concert is at the culture centre.
However there is something going on "every day" at 18.00 somewhere along the Çaliş beach front.

Thursday night and Saturday nights' venue is just before the new harbour (almost opposite the road to the Tax Office).

there are also similiar concerts in Oludeniz
But I will be at the 'Back to Skool' party at Bostans ;-)))

We went to last nights concert & thourghley enjoyed it, ( apart from children who dont know how to behave & probably should have been in bed) Apparently they may make this an annual event.
