Title: X Factor Actors.

is it just me or are there 2 contestants that should be ham actors. Rylan's 'performance' when Nicole told him he was through to the live finals was totally OTT. The other one is Christopher Maloney, when getting through on the wild card. Don't get me wrong, I think he has a good voice, but, he needs to stop the dramatics if he wants to progress through the competition. :D

I don't watch the X Factor, got fed up with it a long time ago.
However, I saw Rylan Clark being interviewed on a morning programme and I recognised him right away as the gay blonde guy who was a regular cast member on John Bishop's Britain.  He did the whole series and was described as a "model".   It would seem he has dyed his hair grown a beard and now become a singer.  I thought these programmes where out there to find new talent.  Seems this guy has been "packaged" for the programme.

Jacqui you hit the nail on the head.  Every year there seems to be another wannabe manufactured to help the viewing statistics.
Doesn't stop me watching though  ;)

Like you I have not watched it for a couple of years but last night my husband put it on

It was a pantomime tonight, with Rylan being the leading lady!!! Louis should have been booed off the stage. What a lot of tosh!

Think Louie and everyone connected with the programme are very clever.  This is just what they want, to get the public roused so they will watch again next week and generate a lot of publicity.  Probably why this guy Rylan was especially picked and put on the X Factor.  I read the ratings where down a few weeks ago, this will help no end.
