Title: Unmistakeably Fethiye
Post by: Scunner on October 07, 2012, 22:01:01 PM: I spotted this beautiful keepsake fridge magnet, a wonderful souvenir which captures the beauty and charm of Fethiye most accurately:

It's all there - the pink houses, the waterway streets, the yachts bobbing on the distant green land.

I'm sure all members will agree, it simply couldn't be anywhere else.

I have searched for a souvenir fridge magnet from my beloved home town Leighton Buzzard. This is one from Ebay - I'm not entirely convinced...

Hardly anyone has heard of it but when I think about it neither had I until I came upon it by accident when I came to buy in Calis. I did once meet a woman in Morrisons on one of my infrequent visits to the UK who told me that she had just been to the most wonderful fruit and veg markets in Turkey called Fethiye but she said "you have probably never heard of it" they have wonderful tomatoes. "not like these effing hard things" lol.
